S’mavens is headed by a pair of seasoned branding professionals. Founders Susan Hamilton Muñoz and Susan Gornell have been working in the branding + innovation space for over 15 years and working together for the past five. Susan Munoz is an HBS- and BCG-trained strategist, and Susan Gornell is an acclaimed creative director who grew up at Wolff Olins and McCann Erickson.

SUSAN HAMILTON MUÑOZ
began her career as a strategic management consultant in The Boston Consulting Group's consumer practice. Her desire for work with social purpose led her to the non-profit arena in Asia, where she worked to develop Singapore's budding arts scene. After business school, she fell in love with branding and innovation as a discipline that combined her business and creative interests, and has had the pleasure of working with outstanding brands like M&M's, Snickers, MilkBone, P.F. Chang's, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Lipton, IZZE, Doritos, Mitsubishi, Samsung and Dove. Susan holds a BA in art history and Italian literature from Dartmouth and an MBA from Harvard.
is a seasoned design and branding professional who specializes in consumer, entertainment and luxury goods. Her work is often inspired by her early-career stint in the world of numismatics at the Smithsonian Museum. With over 15 years in the advertising and branding industry, Susan has held director and supervisory roles for the majority of her career. She is a strategically-based, concept-driven, hands-on Creative Director who has extensive experience with corporate, consumer and business-to-business brands. She has helped develop such brands as Pepsi, Godiva, Mars inc, Boots of London, Starbucks, Creative Artist Agency (CAA), Royal Velvet, and Ruffino.
